Welcome to DiSCoVeR!
A theatre and performance series for children ages 0-8 in Waterloo Region.

Cosmic Fishing Theatre proudly returns the series in 2026 to bring the magic of puppetry, music, dance, and play to our youngest citizens
🚀

It is our belief that every child is entitled to engage in an artistic and cultural life, which nurtures their mind and soul. The same goes for adults! We need more time together with our children and to immerse ourselves in play. In today's fast paced world, when it comes to art, performance and engagement, there is much to learn from the most adventurous art explorers - our children.

TWINKLE

For ages 0–6 and their grown-ups

TWINKLE is a dream-like camping adventure, where everyday objects change into extraordinary worlds. A backpack reveals a pond, a grassland, a starlit sky; umbrellas turn into sparkling constellations; shadows start to dance, and simple objects transform into friendly companions. With musicians ages 6–60, TWINKLE welcomes young audiences into a shared world of sound and imagination. The show moves easily between tenderness and joyful absurdity as our camper fishes for a star, sings under the night sky, awakens a sleepy sleeping bag, and parties with a Hot Dog. TWINKLE was developed with generous support from the Canada Council for the Arts, the Ontario Arts Council, and the Toronto Arts Council.
